Bow deer and elk was a little wet and slow this year. The bugling didn't really start until after Sept. 19th and is going to be more of an advantage for the smoke pole hunters. This year the huckleberries were not as good, which may be why hunters are seeing more bears out and about during the day. One customer decided to get a bear tag when he was seeing more of them than elk and deer. That weekend he got a bear. Good luck and safe huntin'!!! Mark
